In another thread the speed of fights in serials was discussed. Riddle Rider gave a couple of reasons. One was the speed of the cameras at 24 fps rather than
the undercranking speed of 20fps. A second reason was that by the time the 50s rolled around the stunt men were 10 years older and probably a little slower.
With all the members here that attended movie festivals back in the 70s when many of the actors and stunt people were still alive did anyone ever ask them if
they knew the serials were declining. Declining both in speed and story line or did they just come in do their job and go home. Did any of the members ever
ask that question or did anyone ever hear an actor comment on that topic?
