Cliffhanger Family Member Posts: 78 07/24/09 22:14:57 Chief Smoking Tiger Head & Dropper of Ceilings	Tags : None Five chapters into Phantom Rider (Republic). I'm enjoying it more this time time around, although the rubber mask is still beyond awful. Kenne Duncan is memorable in yet another mean henchman role. When Nugget (Hal Taliaferro) lowers a rope to help the Phantom Rider out of a pit, he calls him "Jim". It's not until the Phantom Rider climbs out and takes off his mask that Nugget learns he's Jim. A little continuity error I'm surprised no one caught as it was during the same scene.

Cliffhanger Family Member Posts: 19 07/25/09 00:14:54 Resident B-Western Expert	Gotta disagree with you on two counts. I really don't mind the mask, which I think has more expression than others I've seen in B films, as well as I don't think Kenne Duncan is that great in this type of role since he's the lead henchman, but doesn't really seem that tough (as opposed to Manhunt of Mystery Island where he's overshadowed by Roy Barcroft)

Note: No trees were killed in the sending of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Cliffhanger Family Member Posts: 70 07/27/09 09:20:42 Resident Comic	In Secret Agent X-9 (the version with Scott Kolk) part way through Chapter 10 a fight breaks out. The hero is thrown over a couch (which upsets) and one of the villains dives over the couch after him. The second villain attempts to do the same but is less successful. He collides with the couch, falls over it, and at approximately the 10 minute and 4 second mark, you see his shoe fall off and go flying.
